Dr. D.V.Nagarjana Devi M.Tech, PhD

Dr. D.V. Nagarjana Devi, M.Tech, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at RGUKT Nuzvid, where she has been working since January 2012. She holds a Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering, a B.Tech in CSE, an M.Tech in CS, and a Ph.D. She has 19 years of teaching and administrative experience, having previously worked at GITAM University, CM Engineering College (Malla Reddy Group), and S.R.K.R Engineering College.

Her teaching areas include C and Data Structures, Data Mining, DBMS, Operating Systems, Distributed Systems, File Structures, Computer Organization, Advanced Unix Programming, and OOP with C++. She has also conducted labs on these subjects.

Dr. Devi has attended several professional development programs, including refresher courses on IoT, AI, and Machine Learning at JNTU Hyderabad and FDPs on AI, Machine Learning, and IoT. She also completed industrial training in Amazon Web Services and Data Analytics Using Tableau.

Her research interests include Sentiment Analysis, Machine Learning, Data Mining, IoT, Artificial Intelligence, and Distributed Systems. She has published research papers in leading journals, such as IJERCSE and IJERA, covering topics like emotion-based music recommendation, sarcasm detection, and web page classification. Her conference presentations include IEEE and Springer events on AI, sentiment analysis, and edge computing.

Dr. Devi has held multiple administrative roles at RGUKT, including Dean of Student Welfare (2016–2019), Finance Officer (2022–present), Training & Placement Officer (2021–2022), and Head of the Department (2014–2015). She has also served as Hostel Warden and Mess Committee Chairman and contributed to student welfare and campus administration.
