RGUKT-AP Student Sai Shivani Secures 11th Rank in UPSC Civil Services Examination

We are happy to share that Ms. Sai Sivani, an alumna of RGUKT–Ongole Campus, has secured All India Rank 11 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024.

Ms. Sai Sivani was part of the first batch of the Ongole campus,  joined RGUKT in 2016. She successfully completed the six-year integrated program (PUC + B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering) in 2022. Hailing from a rural background, her inspiring journey to secure a top rank in India’s most prestigious examination is a testament to her  hard work and dedication.

Her outstanding achievement is  pride for the entire RGUKT community and serves as a powerful motivation for all our students. It also reaffirms the core mission of RGUKT "to provide quality education to rural youth and empower them to reach national and global heights".

The RGUKT Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) K. Madhu Murthy, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. M. Vijaya Kumar, Registrar, Dr. Amarendra Kumar, Director of RGUKT–Ongole, Dr. Bhaskar Patel, and all the faculty and staff have extended their heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Sai Sivani on her remarkable success.

Amaravati Quantum Valley Hackathon 2025 Bootcamp at RGUKT Nuzvid
The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), in collaboration with industry experts and leading institutions, organized the prestigious “Amaravati Quantum Valley Hackathon 2025 Bootcamp” at RGUKT Nuzvid. The two-day bootcamp focused on introducing students to cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Quantum Computing, Cloud, and Digital Transformation. Experts from premier institutions and industries provided valuable insights, guiding students to understand the scope, applications, and future career opportunities in these emerging fields. Students participated actively in brainstorming sessions, technical workshops, and group discussions on problem-solving using modern technologies. The program emphasized the importance of innovation, startups, and entrepreneurship in shaping the future of digital India. Special sessions were conducted by eminent speakers including Dr. Chandramouli (Sri Krishna Devaraya University, Anantapur), Prof. Indraganti (Chowdary Institute of Technology), Dr. K.C. Babu (BITS Vizag), and industry experts from TCS, Microsoft, and Amazon. They highlighted the real-world applications of disruptive technologies and motivated students to align their learning with global standards. RGUKT Nuzvid Director, Dr. Amarendra Kumar, expressed that such bootcamps not only equip students with technical skills but also encourage them to become contributors to national growth in quantum and digital technologies. The Amaravati Quantum Valley Hackathon 2025 stands as a milestone event, aiming to transform Andhra Pradesh into a hub for advanced research and innovation in Quantum Computing and Future Technologies.
