A Faculty Development Program (FDP) on "Entrepreneurship Education" was successfully conducted from May 5 to May 9, 2025, at the Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies - Nuzvid Campus in collaboration with the Wadhwani Foundation. The primary objective of this program was to train enthusiastic and committed faculty members from all four campuses of RGUKT-AP, equipping them with the necessary knowledge, tools, and pedagogical techniques to effectively deliver the "Entrepreneurship Education" course in the upcoming Academic Year 2025–26.
 

The five-day FDP featured intensive training sessions that included quizzes, venture proposal development, and pedagogy presentations. Faculty participants were evaluated on their overall performance in these activities, and based on their assessment, they were awarded certifications by the Wadhwani Foundation. These trained faculty members will now take the lead in imparting entrepreneurship education to students across the campuses, nurturing a culture of innovation and self-driven learning.

This initiative offers several key benefits to the institution, such as fostering an entrepreneurial mindset among students, enhancing practical learning, and improving graduate employability through industry-relevant skills. It also contributes positively to institutional metrics like NAAC/NIRF rankings and supports the growth of the incubation centre by encouraging new venture creation and facilitating access to funding opportunities.

For students, the program is designed to build entrepreneurial skills and provide hands-on experience in venture creation. Participants will learn to develop viable business ideas, prepare compelling pitch decks, and receive mentorship from industry experts. Additionally, they will have access to advanced tools and curated resources, empowering them to innovate and thrive in a dynamic global economy.

This collaborative effort between RGUKT and the Wadhwani Foundation marks a significant step toward creating a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem, with long-term impact on students, faculty, and the broader academic community.
